<\/p>\nItalian progressive metal band,\u00a0LAST UNION, featuring\u00a0Mike LePond\u00a0(Symphony X) on bass,\u00a0Uli Kusch\u00a0(ex-Helloween, ex-Masterplan) on drums, and as guest\u00a0James LaBrie(Dream Theater) on vocals, have announced the release of their debut album ‘Twelve’ on\u00a0December 21, 2018\u00a0via\u00a0ROAR! Rock Of Angels Records. The effort was mixed and mastered by\u00a0Jens Bogren, best known for his work with\u00a0ARCH ENEMY,\u00a0SYMPHONY X,\u00a0DEVIN TOWNSEND,\u00a0ANGRA\u00a0and\u00a0OPETH, to name a few.<\/p>\n
The album artwork was made by\u00a0Thomas Ewerhard\u00a0(Avantasia, Rage, Threshold).<\/p>\n

The first was to invite drummer\u00a0Uli Kusch(ex-Helloween, ex-Masterplan) to join the fold, who expressed interest in joining the band as a full member rather than just a touring drummer after hearing the music. A similar scenario played out with\u00a0Symphony X\u00a0bassist\u00a0Mike LePond\u00a0and\u00a0LAST UNION\u00a0was officially born.<\/p>\n The icing on the cake, however, was getting\u00a0Dream Theater\u00a0vocalist\u00a0James LaBrie\u00a0to sing on three tracks.<\/p>\n LAST UNION\u00a0is:<\/p>\n Elisa Scarpeccio \u2013 Vocals <\/p>\n The quiet city of Tolentino in the Marche region of Central Italy not only boasts a rich historical background, it is also the place progressive metal band\u00a0LAST UNION\u00a0calls home. Founded by vocalist\u00a0Elisa Scarpeccio, guitarist\u00a0Cristiano Tiberi\u00a0and keyboardist Claudio Feliziani in 2007, the band \u2013 originally known as\u00a0Blazing Ice\u00a0\u2013 embarked on their journey in the pursuit of sharing their thoughts and feelings about life, and ultimately their art, with the world. With the assistance of professional session bassists and drummers, the trio established themselves on the Italian scene with a string of shows that helped them evolve and refine their craft.
