A follow up to the critically-acclaimed \u201cNorthern Lies,\u201d this track sets the stage for a full-length album set to drop later this year.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe song developed from a riff I contrived during a rehearsal,\u201d remembers singer\/songwriter Dave Holmes. \u201cThe words came almost automatically later that night, from a really heavy chapter in my life.\u201d Drummer Steve Moriarty adds, \u201cIt has a dark, moody feel but it\u2019s heavy and dare I say, grungy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDangereux\u201d has already become a band favorite, and it\u2019ll likely be a fan favorite given the singalong chorus of \u201cGimme gimme blood!\u201d Guitarist Josh Phillips says that\u2019s the \u201cultimate expressions of a toxic love affair gone south.\u201d<br \/>\nHolmes wrote both the lyrics and music for \u201cDangereux.\u201d He produced the single with Tad Doyle (Tad, Mark Lanegan) at Witch Ape Studios, also recording rhythm guitars. Sven Soderlund handled lead guitar for this track at Get Reel Studio in San Francisco. Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney) mastered the track at Soundhouse Seattle. Holmes wrote and produced the video.<\/p>\n<p>Wolves In Argyle is: singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer Dave Holmes (The Oozzies, Shootin&#8217; Lucy and Brother Cain), Steve Moriarty (The Gits, Evil Stig) on drums; Joe G.
