Gessle is the creative force behind the new label which will release  recordings by both new and established artists. First signings are Fanny  de Aguiar, and Alex Shield, who both have releases planned for the  second quarter of 2016. Head of Operations at Space Station 12 will be  co-owner Marie Dimberg.  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p> With multiplatinum success with his original band Gyllene Tider, with  Roxette and as a solo artist, Per Gessle is one of the most successful  artists in Swedish music history.<\/p>\n<p> He came to international prominence in the late Eighties when he formed  the band Roxette together with Marie Fredriksson. With self-penned smash  hits such as &#8216;It Must Have Been Love&#8217;, &#8216;Listen To Your Heart&#8217;, &#8216;The  Look&#8217; and &#8216;Joyride&#8221; (all US Number Ones), he celebrated numerous  worldwide chart successes, won countless awards, and sold more than 75m  records. At the moment Roxette are enjoying their 30th Anniversary World  Tour and in June a new studio album will be released.<\/p>\n<p> Per Gessle: &#8220;My ambition with Space Station 12 is to create an  environment with strong roots in the history of pop and rock. I would  love it to become a label you as a listener can identify with, just like  I did with Atlantic, Stiff and F-Beat Records when I grew up.<\/p>\n<p> SS12 will be a home for strong musical personalities, brilliant  songwriters and curious producers. I&#8217;m really proud to have found a  creative bond with BMG Scandinavia who work independently with  experienced hearts and minds and put the music in focus.
