What\u2019s your take on Tidal?<br \/>Noel Gallagher: [Long pause] I thought that the people on the stage might want to be a little bit aware that they don\u2019t look like Jay Z\u2019s minions. Madonna was pretty cool the way she cocked her leg up on that desk and signed the [declaration].  <!--more-->  <br \/>I think ultimately with the spiel they came out with, it was like, \u201cDo these people think they\u2019re the fuckin\u2019 Avengers? They\u2019re going to save the fuckin\u2019 [world].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I was speaking to Chris [Martin] the day after, and I said, \u201cAre you after a Nobel Peace Prize? Is that what you\u2019re after?\u201d They were like, \u201cWe\u2019re going to fuckin\u2019 save the music business.\u201d And I\u2019m just sitting there, thinking [imitates smoking weed] you might want to write a decent chorus for a fuckin\u2019 start.<\/p>\n<p>Never mind fuckin\u2019 royalties and the \u201cpower of music.\u201d Write a tune.
