{"id":4937,"date":"2015-01-29T10:15:20","date_gmt":"2015-01-29T10:15:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/skylight.gr\/administrator_wordpress\/index.php\/2015\/01\/29\/chip-znuff-releases-first-solo-record-strange-time-on-february-3\/"},"modified":"2015-01-29T10:15:20","modified_gmt":"2015-01-29T10:15:20","slug":"chip-znuff-releases-first-solo-record-strange-time-on-february-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/skylight.gr\/index.php\/2015\/01\/29\/chip-znuff-releases-first-solo-record-strange-time-on-february-3\/","title":{"rendered":"CHIP Z\u2019NUFF RELEASES FIRST SOLO RECORD, STRANGE TIME, ON FEBRUARY 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1422510696234_70495\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/1f2ed8_44aa46fc6c934ef2b46e67b725f858c5.jpg_srz_p_1020_680_75_22_0.50_1.20_0.00_jpg_srz\" border=\"0\" width=\"431\" height=\"287\" \/><br \/>On February 3, Deadline Music (imprint of Cleopatra  Records) will release STRANGE TIME, the first solo album by Chip  Z\u2019nuff.\u00a0  The 10-track record marks a departure from the  trademark Enuff Z\u2019nuff trip-pop sound, with heavier guitars and more psychedelic  elements.\u00a0  In addition to special guest appearances, the album  includes a bonus 5-track EP collaboration with Steven Adler (Guns \u2018n  Roses).<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1422510696234_70801\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1422510696234_70805\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\">\u201cIt\u2019s a stoner rock record,\u201d said Z\u2019nuff, matter-of-factly.\u00a0 \u201cWhat I  have with Enuff Z\u2019nuff is special, but this is a labor of love.\u00a0 I  started these songs while going through every type of hard time \u2013 family,  finances, relationships \u2013 and found moments of clarity while  writing.\u201d\u00a0  He also called on some tour buddies and long-time  friends to guest on the record.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1422510696234_70809\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1422510696234_70935\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\">Having  played bass for both Dale Bozzio (Missing Persons) and Adler (Adler\u2019s Appetite),  Z\u2019nuff knew they\u2019d contribute something truly unique (Z\u2019nuff calls Adler\u2019s  drumming \u201cincendiary\u201d). Home state \u00a0legend Robin Zander lends his pipes to  \u201cAll Day  and All of the Night.\u201d\u00a0 Geezer  Butler\u2019s son, Biff, sings on \u201cRockstar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1422510696234_70937\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1422510696234_70940\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\">STRANGE  TIME was  recorded at Chicago Recording Company in Chicago and Abbey Road Studios in  London.\u00a0 Brendan Jeffrey produced  all tracks except \u201cRockstar\u201d (produced by Johnny K) and \u201cStrange Time\u201d (produced  by R.
