Classic hard rockers HOLLYWOOD MONSTERS, featuring Tim Bogert (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus), Don Airey (Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Michael Schenker), Vinnie Appice(Dio, Black Sabbath), signs a record deal with Mausoleum Records. The new album, \u2018Big Trouble\u2018, to be released on 23th May via Mausoleum Records.\u00a0 A brand new song \u201cMove On\u201d can be streamed using the Soundcloud player. Hollywood Monsters are the brainchild of vocalist, guitarist, composer, St\u00e9phane \u201cSteph\u201d Honde, a French expatriate, who\u2019s been living in California since 2012.<\/p>\n

Honde first became noticed when fronting Mamooth, subsequently garnering a well-deserved reputation as a guitar virtuoso when playing in Caf\u00e9 Bertrand, a French rock group he joined in 2004. The band toured, playing humongous stadiums such as the Stade de France, with an audience capacity in excess of 80.000 \u2013 performing with classic rock giants such as AC\/DC and Deep Purple, the latter for whom they opened on thirty-six dates across Europe in November 2006, and another 12 in March of 2007.Honde recorded two albums with Caf\u00e9 Bertrand \u2013 both critically acclaimed and commercially successful \u2013 \u201cLes Airs Emprunt\u00e9s\u201d (2005) and \u201cL\u2019Art D\u00e9licat du Rock\u2019N\u2019Roll\u201d (2008), before leaving the band in 2011.<\/p>\n

Honde then embarked on a length tour with Paul Di\u2019Anno, oriignal voaclist with Iron Maiden before absconding to California.<\/p>\n

Once in Los Angeles St\u00e9phane Honde befriended Tim Bogert, coaxed him out of retirment and convinced Bogert to play on his debut album\u2026and voil\u00e0, the Hollywood Monsters were born.<\/p>\n

St\u00e9phane Honde recently signed an agreement with Mausoleum Records for the release of the debut album entitled \u201cBig Trouble\u201d by his new band: Hollywood Monsters, scheduled for release in May 2014.<\/p>\n

The talented Hollywood Monsters line-up on \u201cBig Trouble,\u201d besides Tim Bogert (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus \u2013 on bass, additionally welcomes the performances of some more of St\u00e9phane\u2019s talented pals, including: Don Airey (Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Michael Schenker and dozens more \u2013 on keyboards), and Vinnie Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath\u2013 on drums), the latter for whom St\u00e9phane had written the song \u201cVillage Of The Damned\u201d as an hommage\u2026before ever meeting Vinnie!<\/p>\n
