\u2018Wide Awake And Dead\u2019 is a re-awakening; a revival of ORGY, a collection of audio-veterans brimming with talent and raring to go, and make big waves in 2014. \u2018Wide Awake And Dead\u2019 marks the first single from ORGY released this year, as a musical collaboration written by group members Carlton Bost, Bobby Amaro, Nic Speck, Creighton Emrick and Jay Gordon. Starting on Tuesday, March 18th<\/sup>, fans can download \u2018Wide Awake And Dead\u2019 right now via iTunes and other major digital retailers, or at www.orgymusic.com\/wad\/<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u2018Wide Awake And Dead\u2019, just like the lyrics mimic, is addictive at its most transient points, and downright obsession-rendering at its hook. The single is indicative of the direction that ORGY is headed in 2014\u2014this new sound is brimming with crisp, charging guitars, unforgettable lyrics, and transfixing melodies.<\/p>\n

ORGY will be touring the USA again on the second leg of \u201cWide Awake and Dead Tour 2014\u201d. The band will be heading out to support the launch of the single and EP. ORGY emerged in the Goth music scene in 1998 with their incredible remake of \u2018Blue Monday\u2019. The track sold over 1 million copies and built a worldwide audience for the brand. After years of success and then a brief hiatus, founding member Jay Gordon (vocals) decided it was time to kick things back up due to high demand, and begin recording and touring again in support of ORGY\u2019s fans. After piecing the band back together with skilled instrumentalists, 2014 marked the addition of guitarist and bassist Creighton Emrick, adding another layer of unique synth guitar sounds and melodies.<\/p>\n
