With Radio airplay all but impossible for Independent artists to get, Whotune Music Group came up with an Innovative way to get Independent Artists music in front of Hundreds of thousands of potential fans.

With over 2 million streams of Independent artists music in the 1st few weeks the signs are excellent for a whole new way to promote or discover new music.

By creating the Social game ‘Rockstar Rising’ playable on Facebook & coming to iPad in September, Whotune has once again showed why it’s the leading Independent artists promotional platform.

“You don’t just hear the music, you interact with it” said Whotune Music Group CEO Karl George, adding “The toughest thing for independent artists is quite often getting people to hear their song more than once so that they have a chance to bond with the song, Rockstar Rising achieves this”

Rockstar Rising takes players on a journey from their mom’s garage to the World stage, with scenario’s that will be instantly recognizable to any musician.

Starting out as a ‘cover band’ gamers get exposed to music from Whotune.com artists whose songs their animated band must ‘cover’ at ever growing venues.

Eventually gamers make the transition to ‘Original band’ & even record their own music generated by selecting various guitar, bass, drum & keyboard tracks & mixing them together in the game.

With huge exposure for artists of all genres, this is a real ‘game’ changer for Independent artists. Check out www.rockstarrising.com for more information or play the game on Facebook.
