A slightly sardonic tone runs through the track, bringing Frank Zappa to mind, although the overall sound is much more modern rock. The combination of brass and heavy instrumentation is unusual, but it works because the arrangement never takes itself too seriously. The song also plays with dynamics, moving between slower sections and louder, more aggressive ones. This gives the track a sense of constant movement and keeps the unusual variety of influences from becoming predictable. Alongside the heavy rock foundation, touches of ska and even folk metal are added, further enriching an already unconventional musical palette.
