The song begins with dark electric guitars that instantly call to mind The Cure, creating a mysterious and enigmatic vibe. The production makes excellent use of space, letting the instruments flow and giving the track a more broad, deep sense. The bass is a crucial part of the arrangement, driving the groove and providing a strong base for the darker guitar melodies. The lyrics add an additional layer of tension to the music, creating a dark portrait of someone who has rejected the expectations and interests placed on him. The repeating statement “You have no value anymore” becomes almost hypnotic, taking on new meaning as the song continues. Rather than suggesting an actual lack of value, it represents a world in which a person is disposable once they no longer give what others desire. The song’s references to lies, profit, an empty cell, and the desire for freedom give it an aggressive approach, while the comment that people can smile in front of you while insulting you behind your back adds a strong sense of social judgement. After about 2:20, the guitars become more aggressive, progressively building the emotional pressure and pushing the song to its conclusion. This escalation gives the final section a particularly strong character, similar to the mood of the Greek underground scene in the 1980s, bringing to mind bands such as Villa 21 and Λευκή Συμφωνία. The combination of dark guitars, heavy bass, poetic pessimism, and post-punk attitude clearly reflects that era, but the expansive production (audio mix) provides the music a more contemporary feel. “Δεν Έχεις Πια Aξία” is a strong message of independence…

https://www.instagram.com/geo.aletras

https://www.facebook.com/G.Aletras

The artist describes “Δεν Έχεις Πια Aξία” (“You Have No Value Anymore”) as a speedy,…

[14,5
5057,455,436
post-31661","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-george-aletras","tag-post-punk","tag-shoegaze
["GET
