While the song has its own laid-back and atmospheric character, there is also a sense of technical but melodic guitar playing that might make some listeners think of Steve Morse. Around 1:51, the addition of synths adds a nostalgic 1970s style, softening the guitar-driven sound and creating an even more relaxed vibe. These sounds provide a cinematic layer to the arrangement, making “Walker” feel like the soundtrack to a movie scenario set in a crowded city. The mix of lo-fi indie aesthetics, bluesy guitar touches, and retro synths creates a melodic instrumental with a nice, nostalgic vibe. What I particularly admire about the tune is how it creates a sense of movement without using vocals or a complicated arrangement. The guitars appear to take the listener through an unrealistic metropolitan scene, while the synths provide warmth and a little dreamy feel to the image. The arrangement has a spontaneous and cinematic feel to it, as if the listener is walking through a city and seeing various scenes as they pass.

Walker by Watson Bradley

https://watsonbradley.bandcamp.com

[14,5
226,44,5245
post-31635","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-classic-rock","tag-indie-rock","tag-watson-bradley
["GET
