The piano remains at the core of the arrangement, guiding the track with a cheerful attitude as the other instruments slowly develop. Around 1:21, the music takes on a more futuristic vibe, with spaced-out synths coming at low level. They are soft, but they provide an intriguing bit of weirdness and give the track a larger, almost cosmic dimension without drawing attention away from the piano. Around 3:30, the electric guitar contributes to the song’s energy, but the piano remains at the top of the mix and, more crucially, at the center of the listener’s attention. The contrast between the gentle piano, futuristic synth sounds, and more strong guitar results in an interesting progression that is never predictable. Inspired by neoclassical music, avant-garde prog, and post-rock, “Talking Through Time” seems like a journey through diverse sonic environments, progressing from soft and playful moments to something more expansive and atmospheric, with the piano acting as the guiding voice till the end.

https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61576822076768

https://surv7th.bandcamp.com

Sweet piano sounds start the song, creating a warm and artistic mood, as if wonderful images…

[14,5
3235,1522,125,5270
post-31573","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-neoclassical","tag-post-rock","tag-prog","tag-surv7th
["GET
