The vocals are clearly at the heart of the arrangement, while the guitars and rhythm section provide a garage-rock vibe with a radio-friendly twist. The anthemic chorus gives the song a strong live potential, and it’s easy to see a crowd singing along. Although the track isn’t especially fast, the groove keeps the energy going and generates a genuine rock vibe. The beat provides enough movement to keep the song entertaining without getting too aggressive. What differentiates it from some of the band’s previous work is the emphasis on vocal performance rather than instruments. The confident and melodic approach gives “Ground Zero Girl” personality, and the relatively easy arrangement allows the vocals to stand out. It is a different side of DESU TAEM, but an equally entertaining one, especially for those who prefer melodic garage rock with a strong live-show character.

https://www.instagram.com/DESU_TAEM

DESU TAEM’s “Ground Zero Girl” begins with an unusual a cappella intro before a groovy…

[14,5
4324,301
post-31304","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-desu-taem","tag-garage-rock
["GET
