The project includes newly arranged and re-recorded versions of the songs, as well as guest performances from artists such as Iggy Pop and Krystle Warren, providing a fresh perspective on work that helped define Joan&#8217;s artistic identity. The music begins with exotic percussion and folk-inspired acoustic guitar sounds that slowly prepare for Joan&#8217;s Soul-inspired\u00a0vocals. From the beginning, the arrangement creates a warm and organic atmosphere, allowing the performance&#8217;s inner nature to develop naturally. Her voice speaks with warmth, gentleness, and control over her emotions, quickly developing into the main emotional focal point of the composition. The vocal flow takes on almost storytelling and theatrical characteristics, mixing passion with gentle control. Meanwhile, the accompanying music takes a jazzy and minimalist approach, emphasising groove, atmosphere, and expressive rhythm rather than complexity. Every musical element seems carefully selected and placed, contributing to the piece&#8217;s hypnotic flow but not dominating the vocal performance. Watching the concert video enhances the experience by revealing the musicians&#8217; dedication and chemistry. The unplugged style lends the song a raw authenticity, focusing on live connection and feelings rather than polished extravagance. The tempo acts as a basis for the vocals and the instruments to connect together in a truly authentic way. The almost supernatural atmosphere of this performance of &#8220;Eternal Flame&#8221; is what makes it so attractive. The song has the atmosphere of a ritualistic night-time performance, surrounded by symbolic eternal fires, rather than a traditional studio production.
