From start to finish, Soul Of Sheol creates a deep symphonic atmosphere, filled with a progressive vibe that feels cinematic rather than just metal. The orchestration not only enhances but also drives the music. As the vocals kick off, the song turns into a brutal mix of melodic black metal and deathcore. The dramatic darkness and phrasing remind Cradle of Filth, while the rhythmic violence and breakdown-driven structure approach Slaughter to Prevail. However, the band avoids being derivative of itself, and the outcome is significantly more surprising. What distinguishes this track is its refusal to compromise. The composition is constantly evolving, combining orchestral elegance with sudden changes in speed and tone. The orchestral layers act as the backbone all through, giving the pandemonium a bizarre sense of structure. The contrast between elegance and violence defines the listening experience. The song&#8217;s structure is also intentionally &#8220;unpleasant.&#8221; It does not follow a pleasant path, and that is precisely the idea. You can either submit to its intensity or completely reject it; neutrality is not an option.
