Ecce Shnak – LBGTQ+ Lover

EMF collaborates with Ecce Shnak on “LGBTQ+ Lover,” an enthusiastic and socially focused single inspired from their joint tour around the United States’ West Coast in 2025 with Spacehog. The collaboration sends a strong message of solidarity, influenced in part by real-life interactions with fans, highlighting the struggles of LGBTQ+ young people and emphasising the importance of acceptance. Musically, the song begins with funky dance beats that create a catchy groove. Around 0:50, a powerful bassline appears, bringing a post-punk aspect to the mix as the dance beat stays strong. This layering creates a hybrid sound that combines club energy and funk rock attitude. As the song moves into the chorus, the guitars get slightly heavier, adding tension without dominating the dance groove. At its core, “LGBTQ+ Lover” focuses on its message, and the music acts as a dynamic and open vehicle for it. There are obvious funk-rock overtones characteristic of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, along with indie dance components that give the track a contemporary vibe. The final outcome is a song that is both upbeat and meaningful, combining rhythm, attitude, and activism into a cohesive statement. Overall, “LGBTQ+ Lover” is a celebration of identity and diversity, expressed through a groove-heavy (due to Ecce Shnak’s cool involvement) , dance sound that encourages thinking and action.

TOUR DATES
MAY 07 Philadelphia, PA, USA – Nikki Lopez
MAY 08 Buffalo, NY, USA – Town Ballroom
MAY 09 Toronto, ON, Canada – Dance Cave
MAY 10 Montreal, QC, Canada – Bar Le Ritz
MAY 11 Boston, MA, USA – City Winery
MAY 13 New York, NY, USA – Sony Hall
MAY 14 Millersville, PA, USA – Phantom Power
MAY 15 Baltimore, MD, USA – Metro Gallery
MAY 16 Hamden, CT, USA – Space Ballroom
JUN 02 Manchester, UK – Gorilla
JUN 03 Worthing, UK – The Factory Live
JUN 04 Portsmouth, UK – Kola
JUN 05 Southend, UK – Chinnerys
JUN 06 London, UK – The Garage
JUN 07 Leeds, UK – Brudenell Social Club

Photo: EMF/ Ecce Shnak TOUR POSTER

https://ecceshnak.bandcamp.com/music

https://www.facebook.com/ecceshnak

https://www.instagram.com/ecceshnak

EMF collaborates with Ecce Shnak on “LGBTQ+ Lover,” an enthusiastic and socially focused single inspired…

[14,5
2476,4297,5021,2519
post-30129","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-dance","tag-ecce-shnak","tag-emf","tag-funk-rock
["GET
