During the chorus, the glam-punk vocal performance guides the music toward a more pop-oriented path, providing a sharp contrast between the melodic hook and the brutal wall of Punk sound below it, all wrapped in a street-like attitude. The music video, created and directed by Walter Santucci and produced by Evil Cat Land, expresses the punk spirit in visual form. With a CV that includes work for MTV, Nickelodeon, and Disney, as well as collaborations with artists such as Ice T and Graham Chapman, Evil Cat Land creates a video that delivers for cinema what punk rock did for music. Using animation as its main medium, the video shows the song’s rough urban vibe with dark-coloured shots of musicians moving around the city, spray-painting walls, and a welcoming of a raw, DIY punk aesthetic. Lyrically, “Who Loves You” relies on strange, aggressive images and rhythm to emphasise its feelings of isolation, irony, and social discomfort. The refrain: “Do you know who loves you?” “She don’t care” acts as the song’s rebellious, nihilistic core. Musically, the groove stays tight and powerful, driven by Raga Roni’s production and Cool Walt’s snarling vocals and bass work. Overall, the tune is a clear uncompromising punk message that combines chaos, humour, and attitude with distinctive melodic elements.

Detroit Illharmonic Symphony photo by DIS

https://detroitillharmonic.bandcamp.com/

https://www.facebook.com/illharmonic

https://www.instagram.com/catfood_movie

Cool Walt (bass, cello, guitar, piano), Raga Roni (samples, drum programming, turntables), Malyque Smith (raps…

[14,5
4858,290
post-29679","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-detroit-illharmonic-symphony","tag-punk
["GET
