Dan Milligan, a famous drummer and producer, has joined the project, adding sophistication\u00a0to the sound. Bonfire in the Tempest is a dark, atmospheric mix of post-punk, dream pop, and electro-driven alternative music, characterised by strong moods and cinematic sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Diamonds to Rust: The EP begins with funky beats\u00a0and soft cinematic elements in the background. As the guitar enters the mix, a darker atmosphere develops, bringing influences from The Cure to The Gathering. The track is ethereal and deep, with dark guitar tones backed by dreamy, dramatic vocals that take the song in a more dream-pop direction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Industrial Alchemy: Built on groovy, dance\u00a0sounds, the music begins with an opening that recalls Talk Talk&#8217;s elegant 1980s vibe. It right away establishes its own character, driven by soft vocals and supported by powerful, buzzing bass sounds that perfectly match the rhythm. The outcome is both fascinating and forward-moving.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The Skin You Shed: This music starts with bells and a cryptic but beautiful opening. Dark bass tones, unusual guitar sounds, and a contrasting tempo create an engaging musical tension. When the vocals start to emerge, the listener is taken to what appears to be a forgotten 4AD Records track, hazy, dreamy, and emotionally engaging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Murder White Noise: The musical character of this song is defined by its electro-driven beats and some post-punk influences. The vocals take a more radio-friendly approach, boosted by vocoder effects and a dreamy, melodic pop atmosphere. It&#8217;s one of the EP&#8217;s finest tracks while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">We Are the Resistance: Electro soundscapes, shoegaze guitar layers, and a semi-industrial mix combine to produce a futuristic and dark atmosphere. The song stands out on the EP thanks to its cool guitar lines and catchy melody.
