The EP, produced by LG Galleon and famed engineer Martin Bisi at the iconic BC Studio and mastered by Fred Kevorkian, combines underground spirit with studio expertise and keeps its raw aspect.

Care to Try: The EP begins in an enigma of psychedelic garage rock, initially chaotic but intentionally so. Fuzzy guitars clash and then slowly arrange themselves as the tune evolves, achieving an interesting mix of post-punk energy and shoegaze atmosphere. The production embraces the harshness, wrapping the guitars in a hazy light that is surreal and beautiful—like punk rock dancing through a cosmic adventure. Lyrically, the song struggles with inner dialogue and freedom, questioning whether change can happen or if collapse is unavoidable

Galvanized: It changes tactics with an acoustic guitar introduction surrounded by reverb and delay, creating a gentler but no less psychedelic tone. The emphasis here turns toward rhythm, with dreamy sounds softening the edges rather than overpowering them. Vocals rise with a smooth warmth, recalling 1960s nostalgia filtered through contemporary indie melancholy. The track’s spiritual core is further emphasized by the frequent lyrical “loops,” which express a need for movement, and emotional explosion in a world that threatens to remain gray.

Libras at Dusk: It is the EP’s most soulful and relaxing moment. Echoed guitars provide an elegant melancholy inspired by The Cure, combined with shoegaze sounds and pedal-driven effects that give the song its own distinct sound. The lyrics explore balance, desire, and criticism using the Libra symbol as a psychological and moral scale. The song feels frozen in time, standing still, on fire, and constantly on trial, until it fades into a dreamy echo.

CLONE photo by Jason House

https://clonebk.bandcamp.com

https://linktr.ee/clonebknyc

https://www.facebook.com/clonebknyc

[14,5
3824,455,290,436
post-29262","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-clone","tag-post-punk","tag-punk","tag-shoegaze
["GET
