The roughness feels intentional like listening to an old radio broadcast where the warmth of analog sound meets a nostalgic rock melody. As the song goes on, it expands into a softer, almost ambient vibe, with dreamy synths taking the lead. The change gives the song a ballad-like quality, softening its edges and creating an atmosphere of sadness that speaks to many listeners’ sentimental connection to the golden period of rock radio. It’s a point when the song feels frozen in time, somewhere between retro authenticity and modern indie awareness. The dynamic structure functions as a tribute in motion, beginning with the roughness of classic rock and ending in a haze of soulful melody. In doing so, Tom Katz honors not only Kenny Everett’s soul, but also the feeling of late-night radio friendship, where rock history, personality, and creativity once met.

https://tomkatz.bandcamp.com

[14,5
2270,4152
post-29053","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-rock","tag-tom-katz
["GET
