The bass keeps a constant, hypnotic groove, while the guitar gives a strange and oftentimes frightening performance, mixing tension and passion into each riff. When the vocals appear at 1:06, the track moves to an overlap among melodic post-punk and 1990s alternative rock, similar to The Smiths with a nasty underground touch. Eyal Erlich’s vocal approach switches between melody and hidden rage, providing an interesting contrast that keeps the listener hooked. The live recording provides a further level of authenticity, while the 1980s-style production increases its nostalgic attraction. “Sentimental Magic Cape” catches the rare intersection of emotion and tension, resulting in a performance that is both electrifying, showing that Eyal Erlich succeeds in live situations where true feeling meets sound development.

https://www.facebook.com/EyalErlichMusic

https://www.instagram.com/eyalerlichmusic

“Sentimental Magic Cape” begins with bluesy guitar chords that evolve into a raw blues-punk vibe,…

[14,5
4791,455,290
post-28831","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-eyal-erlich","tag-post-punk","tag-punk
["GET
