The song begins with experimental guitar sounds and cinematic backing vocals, creating a strange, exploratory mood characteristic of Goblin or Ennio Morricone’s more surreal moments. As the music evolves, minor blues notes enter the mix, giving the composition a smoky, nighttime atmosphere before bursting into an unexpected a cappella section. From about 1:30 onward, the vocals take center stage, becoming minimalist, hypnotic, and almost ritualistic, reminding of Philip Glass’s early works’ hypnotic repetition. Despite its short runtime of 1:48, “Moon Dancer” feels full and moving, like a passing dream or a cinematic interlude.

https://tomkatz.bandcamp.com

“Moon Dancer” by Tom Katz is a short nevertheless fascinating audio story that feels like…

[14,5
281,4152
post-28790","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-experimental","tag-tom-katz
["GET
