From beginning to end, the sharp, killer riffs create an aggressive nevertheless clean sound, which is perfectly balanced by clean mastering that emphasizes every detail. What actually lifts the song is its dynamic structure; the screamo vocals rip through the mix with raw enthusiasm, and the instrumental parts show amazing musicianship. One interesting moment occurs at 2:02, when a brief acoustic guitar pause relieves tension and carefully opens up the burning guitar solo that follows. This track shows how modern metalcore can be violent and musically complex. With its prog-inspired guitar work, outstanding production, and enthusiastic energy, &#8220;Phoenix&#8221; is more than a song; it&#8217;s an argument.
