The first section feels like an omen, dark and mysterious, before changing into a lighter, broader mood influenced heavily by 1970s rock. Oriental melodies leak into the composition, recalling the colorful psych rock scene of the time, when fuzzed-out guitars and Middle Eastern melodies combined to create something raw and spiritual. As the instrumental layers build, the storytelling vocals take over, pushing the music into deeper intellectual area. The tone of voice is thoughtful, almost chant-like, and the lyrics include political and social meanings. Transgalactica shows their intention not only to create music, but also to establish a narrative environment in which study and commentary interact with sound. Thematically, the song is inspired by Steven Pinker’s Enlightenment Now, particularly its claim that, unlike religious or ideological institutions, there is no “liberal church” to celebrate the achievements of liberal intellectuals. This theme underscores the track’s lyrical path, turning “Liberal Anthem” into a kind of manifesto, skeptical, ironic, and hopeful. The band enhances this intellectual reference with psychedelic elements, establishing abstract philosophy in emotional music. Overall, “Liberal Anthem” is a creative composition that crosses the lines between classic rock tribute and contemporary sociopolitical satire. It stands out not only for its musicianship, but also for its ambition: it wants to be more than just a song; it wants to make a statement.

https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61578446495194

https://www.instagram.com/transgalaktica

“Liberal Anthem” opens with a strange pass of electric guitars, almost dark in tone, before…

[14,5
226,271,4705
post-28371","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-classic-rock","tag-psychedelic-rock","tag-transgalactica
["GET
