Europe can at last rejoice as the Ultra Heavy Beat will finally be making a long-awaited return to the road in February and March 2026. The German electronic and industrial rock pioneers KMFDM<\/strong> will be performing 16 shows throughout mainland Europe, with friends and now Metropolis Records labelmates Jesus On Extasy joining them for selected shows. The two groups had originally announced a tour together in 2022 before it was postponed and then cancelled. 2025 has seen KMFDM unveil \u2018HAU RUCK 2025\u2019 STREAM<\/a>, a 20th anniversary remixed edition of one of their most popular classic albums, while Cifarelli has recently toured the US opening for Lords of Acid, who are also signed to Metropolis Records with new music due soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/a><\/a> <\/a><\/a> KMFDM biography The 1990s saw KMFDM become a household name in the worldwide industrial rock scene, with their 1995 hit \u2018Juke Joint Jezebel\u2019 catapulting the band into the Billboard charts Stateside and helping to earn them placements on a plethora of film soundtracks that included \u2018Bad Boys\u2019 and \u2018Mortal Kombat\u2019. KMFDM celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2024, a year in which they toured North America twice and released a new album entitled \u2018Let Go\u2019 STREAM<\/a>. The year also saw the release of the band\u2019s co-vocalist Lucia Cifarelli\u2019s third solo album, \u2018No God Here\u2019, as well as a 30th anniversary deluxe edition of the \u2018Sin Sex & Salvation EP by PIG vs KMFDM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamburg-based industrial rock pioneers KMFDM have forged their own singular path since being founded by Sascha \u2018K\u00e4pt\u2019n K\u2019 Konietzko in 1984, continually refining and redefining the parameters of modern music while also never missing an opportunity to address the social and political zeitgeist in brazen, belligerent and boisterous fashion. Their early albums were recorded in Germany before a move to the US, where they found success with the Chicago-based record label Wax Trax!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The band took a hiatus in 1999 after recording their 10th album for Wax Trax!, but Konietzko resurrected KMFDM three years later and signed to Metropolis Records with a line-up that featured American singer Lucia Cifarelli (from Drill) and Tim Skold (who later joined Marilyn Manson). Releasing studio albums and touring frequently, Konietzko and Cifarelli returned to Germany in 2008 and have continued to record and tour regularly.
