From the first few seconds, the nostalgic guitar tones take the listener to a previous era, somewhere between 1960s psych-pop and modern indie noir. There is a melancholic\u00a0attraction in the air, like if you are traveling through a hazy dream. The female vocals offer luxurious dimension to the mix, typical of Amy Winehouse but with a more mysterious, dark vibe. The voice becomes the spirit of the song, sexual, passionate, and very little distanced, drawing you in closer with each word. At 1:34, the song gets a rhythmic change, with a groovy drumming that pushes it forward with new energy. The guitar licks move\u00a0in and out of the mix,\u00a0like whispers from another room, recalling The Cramps&#8217; guitar\u00a0simplicity, but with a more polished, radio-friendly touch. There&#8217;s a wonderful balance of roughness and smoothness, old and modern, closeness and distance.
