The music begins with atmospheric\u00a0synth sounds, creating an ambient background, before funk-distorted\u00a0guitars and groovy percussion break through, resulting in an unconventional structure full of tonal surprises and rhythmic changes. What jumps out is the song&#8217;s progressive style, featuring dynamic contrasts, tempo changes, and a\u00a0combination of classic and modern influences (the part from 1:38 to 1:57 highlights the band&#8217;s up-to-date influences). The musicality is a reminder of Steven Wilson&#8217;s recent album, nevertheless The MC2 Project forges its own path, mixing inspirations from many eras and genres into a multilayered sound. The changes in mood are smooth the experimenting feels planned, and the overall composition is\u00a0\u00a0well developed.
