The song begins with classic rock\u00a0guitar riffs rooted in dark blues and hard rock, with elements\u00a0of NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) influence moving in. The music has a raw, natural feel to it, completely vintage and proudly loud. The vocals have a streetwise attitude characteristic of Phil Lynott, presenting phrases with laid-back coolness and an aura of storytelling strength. It&#8217;s a performance that seems lived-in, unfiltered, and full of mentality, that works well with the simple\u00a0nevertheless powerful orchestration. While the arrangement remains simple, the range of feelings it reveals is unexpectedly broad:\u00a0nostalgia, passion, anxiety, and obvious strength. The scratchy, almost demo-like mix only contributes to the underground personality, creating the atmosphere of a darkly lit club where real rock is still alive. &#8220;Dora Lee (Gravity)&#8221; doesn&#8217;t try to be polished since it doesn&#8217;t have to be.
