Warm, Moog-style synths are added beneath, giving the song a characteristic 1970s vibe, leading to a mix of classic blues and retrofuturistic sounds. The guitar work throughout is particularly groovy, expressive, and rhythmically interesting. The mix, on the other hand, might use some fine-tuning, particularly with EQ adjustments to help the guitar breath more freely and provide more clarity to the entire mix. Despite this, the track&#8217;s well-structured orchestration guarantees that it flows in harmony and easily. A standout moment comes at 2:13, when the guitar solo takes the lead. It&#8217;s a technically impressive and rhythmically compact moment that\u00a0provides an intense energy to the track&#8217;s dark atmosphere. Overall, Whiskey Blues is a fascinating composition with vintage character, strong musicianship, and a dark, cinematic atmosphere.
