Further enforcing this theme, an accompanying video splices live performance footage with kaleidoscopic images of war and its effects, as well as the propaganda surrounding it, making for a compelling statement overall.<br><br>&nbsp;<em>\u201cThe lyrics came to me quite quickly,\u201d&nbsp;<\/em>Vox explains.&nbsp;<em>\u201cThey reflect what has been happening globally and how senior officials line up to kiss the rings of clowns who regard themselves as self-proclaimed kings rather than elected statesmen.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ecp.yusercontent.com\/mail?url=https%3A%2F%2Fd19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net%2Fusr%2F0a6a899a3086fb4b3850d81715b05964%2Fimg%2Fd15be4e3ddb23263768b31252589f48062a97927&amp;t=1748797200&amp;ymreqid=ae27eb65-cffb-e22c-1cd2-15000b019b00&amp;sig=hhtkXkPaZb2eQSgiunU5kg--~D\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scheduled for release on 12th September on Metropolis Records, \u2018Arctic Moon\u2019 is the first full-length album by Chameleons since the release of \u2018Why Call It Anything?\u2019 in 2001.&nbsp;<em>\u201cThere is an obvious maturity to the songwriting on this record, and anyone familiar with our past work will hear that this is a positive step forward. While we\u2019re proud of the band\u2019s legacy, we really wanted to forge something fresh while retaining that profound and imaginative quality we\u2019re known for. Their widely acclaimed debut, \u2018Script of the Bridge\u2019 (1983) has been cited by many as a masterpiece way ahead of its time, and was followed by \u2018What Does Anything Mean? Basically!\u2019 (1984), \u2018Strange Times\u2019 (1986) and \u2018Why Call It Anything?\u2019 (2001).<br><br>Their unique sound quickly won them an audience with its mix of melancholic yet energetic and powerful tunes, hypnotic, ethereal riffs and a potent, timeless lyrical style.
