They create a new genre called ProgTronic, which combines electronic sounds and progressive guitar work with a strong influence from video game aesthetics, jazz fusion, and psychedelic rock. The album takes you to a dynamic universe where digital surroundings and analog soul interact from the very first track. Lance’s synth work is lush, deep and sometimes Bluesy, incorporating sequenced patterns and ambient flows that move with retro-futuristic enthusiasm. It’s the kind of atmosphere you’d expect from a lost 16-bit RPG soundtrack, assuming it was created by a prog rock maestro.

This Way To Egress by Animus Numinous

Explore more from the duo at www.stevenlancemusic.com/music.

This is a kaleidoscope voyage through sound and imagination, performed by the dynamic combination Animus…

[14,5
4538,125
post-27308","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-animus-numinous","tag-prog
["GET
