The bassline has somewhat post-punk energy to it, and the vocal performance is particular, reminiscent of Eddie Vedder&#8217;s\u00a0vocal style. The production is a prominent: loud in the nicest way possible, with a clean, well-balanced mix that makes each instrument become apparent in the mix. There&#8217;s a clarity here that improves the track, adding power and a certain atmosphere. The chorus is where the music actually comes alive and well. Melodic vocal lines and reverbed\u00a0guitar parts combine to create an uplifting moment that pays tribute to 1980s alternative music. Despite the dark themes of the lyrics, the chorus provides an obvious boost, with an anthemic, feel-good singing that puts a smile on your face. The nearly dark tone of the lyrics contrasts nicely with the danceable, pop-leaning rhythm of the drums.
