and also the trees<\/strong> begin a nine date May tour of Switzerland and Italy in Geneva tomorrow (15th May) as they continue to promote their acclaimed 2024 album \u2018Mother-of-pearl moon\u2019. They will also perform at the Botanique Festival in Bologna on 14th June. The full itinerary is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These dates coincide with the reissue of the group\u2019s 2007 album ‘(Listen for) The Rag and Bone Man\u2019, a release that marked a renaissance of the band at that time. This new remastered edition includes six previously unreleased tracks written during the same period but not included on the original album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marking its first ever release on vinyl, this format comes as a double LP in a gatefold sleeve, in a hand numbered limited edition of 500. It will also be available on CD with booklet including lyrics and photographs.

Founded in 1979 during the original post-punk era by singer Simon Jones and his guitarist brother Justin, and also the trees<\/strong> are renowned for their captivating live performances, a unique style of mandolin-like electric guitar, evocative lyrics and dark jazz rhythms. The group have been a continuous presence on the post-punk, alternative rock and Gothic scenes worldwide, releasing fifteen studio albums and touring frequently throughout mainland Europe, North America and Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
