From the first beat, the tune pulls you in with clear, global percussion and a smooth mix that teases at an ethnic flavor, establishing a laid-back but sophisticated state of mind. The groove is the track’s heart: bluesy guitar notes mix with tight, funky rhythms to create a sound that is nostalgic. Soft vocals move in and out of the mix, not prevailing, but just enough to keep the tune from becoming completely instrumental. These short vocals provide a dimension of mystery, enhancing the mood without taking away from the musical focus. Mosaic captures a powerful 1970s atmosphere between 2:39 and 3:07, with its hypnotic progression and psychedelic touch recalling The Doors. Just around 3:05, the tempo slows down shortly, allowing listeners an opportunity to breathe before returning to the track’s trademark funky-jazzy groove. Mosaic is a vibrant mix of inspirations and moods that are linked together musically.

Dr. Piankov’s Mosaic is a complex audio “mosaic” that combines exotic rhythms, jazzy sounds, and funk-infused…

[16,5
4476,703,465
post-26907","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-jazz-blues-reviews","category-reviews","tag-dr-piankov","tag-funk","tag-jazz
["GET
