The song begins with a neoclassical overture, offering an alarming but elegant mood before the introduction of percussion and bass, that clearly recall Goblin’s famous, frightening sounds—but with a more dramatic approach. At 1:12, jazz piano melodies enter the music mix, adding a warm, complex scale. The change adds a dimension to the track by perfectly mixing soft, emotional harmonies with strong and skilled drumming. The final result is a complex and progressive sound that moves between progressive rock and jazz fusion while maintaining a cinematic beauty. The production quality is exceptional, with perfect mixing and mastering that allows each instrument to be heard clearly without dominating the overall arrangement. “Yōkai” is an interesting listen for fans of prog rock and those who like complex, dramatic soundtracks.

https://www.facebook.com/jonhatantenerinidrummer

https://www.instagram.com/jonhatantenerini

Jonhatan Tenerini’s instrumental track “Yōkai” combines cinematic atmosphere with progressive complexity.
