The song switches between dreamy melancholy and raw power, producing a hypnotic atmosphere. The dreamlike vocals encourage distant memories while floating over the bizarre, modern rock guitars that keep the tune rooted. The contrast between ethereal abstraction and raw guitar realism offers depth, while the fuzzy, deep production surrounds the listener in a sweet haze. At 2:34, a cool guitar solo appears, recalling of 1990s alternative and shoegaze music and contributing to the song’s sad beauty. Mirror’s lyrical themes include reflective thinking, fate, and hidden reality. The constant use of the mirror in the darkness expresses a metaphor for meditation and revelation, while phrases like “Shows me where and when to fall” and “Shows me inside of you” communicate a feeling of mystical guidance and sensitivity.

Photo Credit: photo by Karin Johansson

https://tombstonesintheireyes.bandcamp.com

https://www.facebook.com/TombstonesInTheirEyes

https://www.instagram.com/tombstonesintheireyes

Mirror, a music that combines 1990s alternative rock vibes with psychedelic shoegaze components, takes the…

[14,5
365,829
post-26680","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-alternative-rock","tag-tombstones-in-their-eyes
["GET
