Their most recent release, covers of T. Rex’s Children of the Revolution (with Al Jourgensen from Ministry) and The Lords of the New Church’s Open Your Eyes, act as strong, socially conscious hymns. Both covers successfully acknowledge their origins while adding new, ideological strength. Children of the Revolution benefits from its harder, hard-rocking version, while Open Your Eyes emphasizes its gothic elements and lyrical passion.

Children of the Revolution: This cover version gives the glam rock classic a stronger, harder edge. The music begins with extended guitar solos giving it a raw, almost industrial vibe before settling into the familiar groove. The production keeps the original’s 1970s spirit while adding modern distortion and a more aggressive bite. At 1:15, an angry guitar solo begins, offering a rebellious, epic quality to Jourgensen’s harsh vocal performance. The outcome is a brave, powerful version that feels nostalgic.

Open Your Eyes: In comparison to the original, Beauty In Chaos’ version of Open Your Eyes leans more toward gothic rock aesthetics. The introduction provides a somewhat different tone, while the vocals take a darker, more aggressive approach, highlighting the song’s sense of tension. While the main orchestration remains loyal to the original, the chorus takes on a more melodic and atmospheric turn, revealing Cold War-era stress that feels strangely important today. The colder, gothic mood fits the song’s message, making it even chillier and more powerful in today’s global climate.

<iframe loading="lazy" title="BEAUTY IN CHAOS - "Children Of The Revolution" ft.
