Featuring a lineup that includes members from Canada, Venezuela, Tobago, and Jamaica, the song maintains its Caribbean roots while embracing a worldwide sense. With a strong bassline and cool guitar work, the song begins with a powerful rock rhythm before changing into a reggae groove. Reggae’s warm, rhythmic pulse takes control as the rhythm section locks into a consistent, catchy groove. The song’s credibility is increased by the vocalists’ use of popular Jamaican reggae stereotypes in both melody and lyrical presentation. The song’s upbeat and rebellious mood is further emphasized by the lyrics, which, despite their dependence on traditional reggae themes, fit in well. Production-wise, Step Up offers a well-balanced mix, professional instruments, and a lot of beats. The combination of the reggae heartbeat and the rock parts creates an attracting dance sound. With their cross-cultural lineup, Sonic Alley proves their unique sound isn’t just for effect.

https://facebook.com/iamcalebhart

https://iamcalebhart.bandcamp.com

https://www.instagram.com/iamcalebhart

[14,5
414,4389
post-26441","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pop-rock-reviews","category-reviews","tag-reggae","tag-sonic-alley
["GET
