Faris Ishaq is a Palestinian Nay master, percussionist, and composer who pushes the limits of the ancient instrument by adding modern components that produce a feeling of calm and mystery. Ishaq&#8217;s innovative playing technique breathes life into the flute, imbuing it with a dreamy quality that captivates the imagination. The music flows effortlessly, conjuring images of vast landscapes and epic tales, making it a perfect candidate for a film soundtrack. The composition and execution of &#8220;Nafas&#8221; show its avant-garde style. Ishaq pushes the Nay&#8217;s musical bounds and travels into uncharted territory, challenging conventional notions of the genre.
