Hip hop aficionados brace yourselves for a seismic event as rap legends Onyx unleash their latest single, “WTF U Talkin’ About,” a thunderous anthem that heralds their return to the forefront of the genre. This electrifying, all-new track is a throwback to the heady days of the ‘90s when hardcore hip hop was still primarily driven by underground acts like Onyx whose confrontational style and all-too-real lyrics were deemed far too dangerous for mainstream consumption.

My how times have changed. But Onyx duo Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz haven’t. They still spit fire with a passion and fury these young up-and-comers could only hope to achieve.

In perhaps their boldest statement yet, Onyx reclaims the gangster rap throne with a set of revamped and supercharged versions of their best moments from the previous 3 decades. Ghetto Anthems offers brand-new, hyped-up versions of Onyx classics like “Shut ‘Em Down,” their phenomenal collaboration with DMX, “Throw Ya Gunz” and, of course, a killer new version of “Judgment Night,” featuring German industrial metal masters Die Krupps taking over Biohazard’s role.

Ghetto Anthems is not just an album; it’s a testament to Onyx’s enduring legacy and their unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of hip hop. The album will be available on both CD, vinyl and special collectible cassette starting June 14. Prepare to be blown away by the raw power and intensity of Onyx’s latest offering!
