With a combination of unstoppable energy, shredding guitars, and hammering percussion, the song grabs listeners by the throat from the very beginning. At 0:31, “Captive” takes a sharp turn into the realm of prog metal, introducing a complex musical passage filled with intricate guitar solos and futuristic synths reminiscent of the likes of Dream Theater. With its highly technical orchestration and multi-layered sounds that stretch the limits of what is musically feasible, the composition creates a thrilling and insightful experience. Following an Alternative Metal approach, the vocals intensify the mix further with shades of aggressiveness and passion that occasionally bring System of a Down’s distinctive sound to mind. Despite the complexity of the instrumentation, the production remains cool and calculated, allowing the powerful orchestration to shine through with crystal clarity. In summary, “Captive” is an incredible example of contemporary Prog metal, providing a thrilling ride through a world of complex sounds and unrestrained passion.

https://www.facebook.com/furyofadyingplanet

https://www.instagram.com/furyofadyingplanet

The new song from Fury of a Dying Planet, “Captive,” is a merciless assault of…

[13,5
2845,125,257
post-23549","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-hard-music","category-reviews","tag-fury-of-a-dying-planet","tag-prog","tag-progressive-metal
["GET
