Living thousands of miles apart, United States based, award-winning multi-instrumentalist, Paul Adams, and Australia based, award-winning multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Elizabeth Geyer, have been creating music together from opposite ends of the globe since their debut collaboration, \u201cImaginings.\u201d Across the oceans and continents, something definitely worked synergistically and continues to work. Their album won the award, \u201cContemporary Instrumental Album of the Year\u201d at the Zone Music Reporter Awards in 2015.\u00a0
Following, \u201cImaginings,\u201d came \u201cDeeper Imaginings\u201d and \u201cSanctuary,\u201d the New Age Music Guide’s \u201cAlbum of the Year\u201d of 2022. Continuing to unfold the timeless, spiritual sanctuary that has become a trademark of their music, comes a new single from their next album, \u201cA Journey Of Dreams.\u201d The single, the title track from the new forthcoming album, involves Adams\u2019 creative musical talent and his collection of exotic instruments as well as the electric sitar he made in the days when he was a luthier. Their successful journeys have amassed over 132 million streams on Pandora as well as regular programming on SiriusXM Radio.\u00a0
Blended with Elizabeth Geyer\u2019s sensitive piano and instrumental vocalizations, \u201cA Journey of Dreams,\u201d continues the beautiful and exotic flow of their previous releases. Adams said, \u201cWe wanted to focus on beauty, especially as the world seems to be in such deep chaos.\u201d When referring to Geyer\u2019s solo album projects, Bruce Lundvall of Blue Note Records called Elizabeth \u201cA brilliant musician and songwriter.\u201d For \u201cA Journey Of Dreams,\u201d Elizabeth says her intention was to create a place of safety and home. \u201cImagine a place where you once came from, where you will go back to, and a place you sometimes visit in dreams.\u201d\u00a0
With its exotic nature and ethnic impressions, Adams describes the piece as offering a bit of artistic and spiritual pragmatism. \u201cIt’s all right here on \u2018circus Earth\u2019 \u2013 from the heinous to the sublime. We felt a need to create something that might focus on the deep beauty we are all capable of.
