The long wait for power metal fans worldwide is finally over as Brazilian genre icons ANGRA<\/strong> release their highly anticipated first studio album in 5 years, \u00bbCycles Of Pain,\u00ab<\/strong> via Atomic Fire Records<\/strong> today. Taking place at S\u00e3o Paulo<\/strong>‘s Tokio Marine Hall<\/strong> tonight, the band will additionally celebrate the opus in the form of a release show including special guests, who have also contributed to the 12 new tracks. \u00bbCycles Of Pain\u00ab<\/strong> was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by long-time ANGRA<\/strong> partner Dennis Ward <\/strong>(D.C. COOPER<\/strong>, PINK CREAM<\/strong>69<\/strong>, PLACE VENDOME<\/strong> etc.) at the Sonast\u00e9rio & Elephant Office<\/strong> in Brazil<\/strong>, while mixing and mastering took place at The TrakShak<\/strong> in Karlsdorf, Germany<\/strong>. Its artwork was designed by Erick Pasqua<\/strong> (https:\/\/erickpas.com\/<\/a>) before Jonathan Canuto<\/strong> (https:\/\/canutoartwork.myportfolio.com\/<\/a>) took care of layout duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album also features a range of guests including appearances by Amanda Somerville<\/strong> (‘Tears Of Blood’<\/strong>), Brazilian artists Lenine<\/strong> (‘<\/strong>Vida Seca<\/strong>‘<\/strong>) and Vanessa Moreno<\/strong> (‘<\/strong>Tide Of Changes – Part II’<\/strong> & ‘Here In The Now’<\/strong>), and last but not least Juliana D’Agostini<\/strong> on piano (‘Tears Of Blood’<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group’s metal leadership began over 30 years ago in 1991. Hailing since then as one of the finest metal acts originating from South America, the last decade saw the addition of vocalist Fabio Lione<\/strong> (ATHENA XIX<\/strong>, ex-RHAPSODY OF FIRE<\/strong>, ex-VISION DIVINE<\/strong> etc.) to their ranks. With Rafael Bittencourt<\/strong> and Marcelo Barbosa<\/strong> on guitars, Felipe Andreoli<\/strong> on bass and Bruno Valverde<\/strong> on drums, ANGRA<\/strong> have been keeping the momentum and now they are ready to release their long-awaited 10th studio album through their new label partner Atomic Fire Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
