Sullivan’s songwriting and musical approach take listeners on a thrilling journey through the realms of power and progressive metal, enveloped in a vintage aura yet subtly infused with a modern touch. Throughout the album, echoes of iconic bands such as Judas Priest, Metal Church, and even Slayer reverberate, paying homage to the timeless classics of the metal genre.

Teaming up with his longtime friend and former bandmate Chuck White (ex-Ion Vein and more), Sullivan has also gathered a group of talented local Chicagoland musicians, creating a small tribute to the thriving local talent pool. This album is a treat for metal enthusiasts, featuring a diverse array of melodic vocal performances, including the unforgettable Tim “Ripper” Owens, who adds a special touch in between his touring commitments. The inclusion of remarkable local lead guitarists, both from previous bands and new collaborations, injects a variety of metal flavors into the mix, with the shred master himself, David Shankle (ex-Manowar), making a notable appearance.

The Beginning of the End by Sullvation

Whether you are a seasoned follower of Brent Sullivan’s work and his exceptional bass prowess or a newcomer to his musical universe, “SULLVATION” promises an exhilarating ride packed with killer riffs that will undoubtedly leave metalheads satisfied.
