The Glitter &amp; Glam Rockfest returns for its 27th season (since 1995) for the first time ever at the world famous Boardner\u2019s in the heart of Hollywood with six (6) original bands (no tribute acts here) for only $ 6.00 bucks and $6.00 dollar drink specials.\u00a0<br><br>Doors open at 7:30pm &#8211; till closing at 1:30am. Established in 1927 and named after the famous hit song \u2018My Blue Heaven\u2019, Boardner\u2019s was actually owned by the famous hit songwriter Gene Austin. Boardner\u2019s resides in a historical landmark building, the Cherokee Building, designed by Norman Alpaugh, also the architect for the Sheraton Townhouse and Santa Monica\u2019s Elmiro Theater. The Cherokee Building was Hollywood\u2019s first drive-in business having a large motor entrance at the rear of the building where motorists could park, then walk through a Spanish courtyard complete with its original Moroccan tile fountain as the centerpiece of Boardner\u2019s patio.
