In a follow-up to last year\u2019s successful performance of \u201cWhat Friends Do,\u201d Dark Shadows legends Kathryn Leigh Scott, David Selby and Susan Sullivan will be appearing in a new play \u201cIn Your Corner\u201d on Smartphone Theatre June 11, 2023!

Life-long friends Bevi, Ruth and Max share their broken hearts over the loss of Harry when they too recognize their own ticking clock which comes with some startling trepidations and discoveries. Written by Susan Sullivan and directed by Asaad Kaleda, the play stars Susan Sullivan, Kathryn Leigh Scott and David Selby, \u201cIn Your Corner\u201d will pull your heartstrings while challenging you to reach out and hug those you call family, no matter the distance.

Todd Felderstein started SMARTPHONE THEATRE during the Pandemic and it\u2019s proven to be a fabulous platform for showcasing works by actors and playwrights. Asaad Kaleda is a well-known stage and television director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


<\/strong>Kathryn Leigh Scott <\/strong>is an author and actress. She played four roles, including Maggie Evans and Josette DuPres, in the original Gothic series, \u201cDark Shadows\u201d and \u201cHouse of Dark Shadows\u201d (1970). She wrote \u201cDark Shadows: Return to Collinwood\u201d and \u201cDark Shadows Movie Book,\u201d among other books about the hit series. Her recent feature films include, \u201cThe Eleventh Green\u201d with Campbell Scott, \u201cThree Christs\u201d with Richard Gere and Juliana Margulies and Woody Allen\u2019s \u201cA Rainy Day in New York.\u201d She recently appeared in \u201cThe Blacklist,\u201d Hallmark Channel\u2019s \u201cBroadcasting Christmas,\u201d Lifetime\u2019s \u201cA Wedding to Die For,\u201d and has a recurring role as George Segal\u2019s girlfriend Miriam in \u201cThe Goldbergs.\u201d She has written the novels \u201cSeptember Girl,\u201d \u201cJinxed,\u201d \u201cDown and Out in Beverly Heels\u201d and \u201cDark Passages.\u201d Nonfiction includes the Lobby Card books on film art, \u201cLast Dance at the Savoy,\u201d \u201cThe Bunny Years\u201d and a trilogy of books on caregiving: \u201cNow With You, Now Without,\u201d \u201cThe Happy Hours\u201d and \u201cA Welcome Respite.\u201d She resides in New York and Los Angeles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


<\/strong>Susan Sullivan<\/strong> is most well known for her roles as Lenore Curtin Delaney on the NBC daytime soap opera \u201cAnother World\u201d (1971\u201376), Lois Adams on the ABC sitcom \u201cIt\u2019s a Living\u201d (1980\u201381), Maggie Gioberti Channing on the CBS primetime soap opera \u201cFalcon Crest\u201d (1981\u201390), Kitty Montgomery on the ABC sitcom \u201cDharma & Greg\u201d (1997\u20132002), and Martha Rodgers on the crime drama \u201cCastle\u201d (2009\u20132016). She was nominated for an Emmy for Lead Actress for the role of Julie Farr in the 1978 television drama \u201cJulie Farr, M.D.\u201d, and she received a Golden Globe nomination for Supporting Actress for her role in \u201cDharma & Greg.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


<\/strong>David Selby<\/strong>, an American film, television, and stage actor, is best known for his roles as Quentin Collins on the daytime gothic soap opera \u201cDark Shadows\u201d (1968\u201371) and Richard Channing on the prime-time soap \u201cFalcon Crest\u201d (1982\u201390). Selby also had prominent roles in the feature films \u201cNight of Dark Shadows\u201d (1971) and \u201cRaise the Titanic\u201d (1980) and in the television series \u201cFlamingo Road\u201d (1981\u201382).
