Introducing Alleycatz, the UK-based Sleaze Metal sensation that’s on a mission to bring the fun back to Heavy Metal with their electrifying debut EP, “Private Vices, Public Pleasures.” Released on May 1, 2023, this self-released gem is a must-listen for fans of Motley Crue, Shotgun Messiah, and Faster Pussycat.

A perfect fusion of Sleaze Metal, Glam Metal, Hair Metal, and Hard Rock, “Private Vices, Public Pleasures” is a high-octane rollercoaster ride that takes you back to the glorious days of rock ‘n’ roll debauchery. Spearheaded by the multi-talented Joseph James, who handles all instruments, vocals, and songwriting, Alleycatz delivers an unforgettable sonic experience with five adrenaline-pumping tracks that celebrate all things loud, fast, and sleazy.

According to frontman Joseph James, Alleycatz aims to inject some much-needed fun back into a Heavy Metal scene that has become too serious in recent years. “We wanted to create music that makes you want to grab a beer, do a line, and hit the town,” he says. “We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel or anything; we’re just here for a good time!”

From the sultry opener “She’s A Vixen” to the anthemic “Stage Door,” each track on the EP showcases Alleycatz’s prowess in crafting infectious melodies, raunchy guitar riffs, and unforgettably catchy choruses. The EP also features a swaggering homage to Hanoi Rocks with a bonus cover of “Cutting Corners,” available only on certain streaming services.

Recorded at Necroplague Studios and expertly produced, mixed, and mastered by Joseph James himself, “Private Vices, Public Pleasures” is a testament to the band’s dedication to preserving the essence of the Sleaze Metal genre while adding their unique twist. Alleycatz is here to remind us that Heavy Metal is all about having a good time and leaving your troubles behind.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to indulge in the intoxicating sounds of Alleycatz and rediscover the joy of Sleaze Metal at its finest!
