They\u2019re one of the hardest working bands on the planet, consistently churning out new music and taking their raucous brand of punk meets rockabilly on the road to their legion of fans not only here in the States but in other countries as well. They are The Brains and though they\u2019ve had to fight through several recent setbacks, the band is poised to come roaring back with a brand-new video for their recent single, fittingly enough a supercharged version of Elton John\u2019s ode to perseverance, \u201cI\u2019m Still Standing,\u201d as well as announcing a set of new tour dates for May.

\u201cI\u2019m Still Standing\u201d follows on the heels of several new singles the band has released this year, all of which find head Brain Rene D La Muerte putting his unique spin on some of the great songs from the American Rock N\u2019 Roll canon, classics such as \u201cYakety Yak,\u201d \u201cCalifornia Dreamin\u2019, \u201cWooly Bully,\u201d \u201cDevil With A Blue Dress On\u201d and several more! In the hands of D La Muerte, these well-known classics get cranked up to 11 with a backbeat that will have you up and dancing. In fact, the video concept for \u201cI\u2019m Still Standing\u201d features what will be a familiar dance sequence to those who share The Brains\u2019 affection for classic horror character Wednesday Addams.
