It\u2019s been very well received, so we\u2019re pleased with the result.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Can you let us know all the details about your new release?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The album\u2019s called XXX to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the band.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There is a new promo video for the song \u201cFace on the bridge\u201d. Could you give use details about the video shooting?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Was all done in one day, shot in the Buckinghamshire countryside outside the studio where we recorded the album.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The single of Face on the bridge is already successful in UK charts, right?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s certainly done well on all the rock charts.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A new live DVD is also on the way; please let us know about it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was filmed during the Omega European tour in Basel, Switzerland. It\u2019s called \u2018Resonance\u2019.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What\u2019s the line up of the band right now and do you intend to continue with the same line up in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The only way there will be a band called Asia now and in the future, is if all 4 original members are present.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Roger Dean has been the original illustrator of your albums for many years. Is he still present in your new album? Let us know about the artwork.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Roger was asked to elaborate a design based on the 1st album sleeve. The XXX artwork is an extension of that.<\/p>\n


8.\u00a0\u00a0 Do you still enjoy playing \u201cHeat of the moment\u201d on stage?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, it\u2019s still a buzz. After all, it\u2019s our signature tune.<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0\u00a0 How do you plan your set list?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We kick the ideas around, trying to blend in newer material with the more classic stuff, then see how best to present it.<\/p>\n


10.\u00a0\u00a0 You have a great catalogue in terms of band or solo efforts. Has the internet piracy affected the royalties from your catalogue?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m sure we are all losing royalties due to piracy. Unfortunately it\u2019s nothing new, and little we can do about it.<\/p>\n

11.\u00a0\u00a0 How do you stay in touch with your fans?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Via Websites, Guestbooks, Twitter, Facebook etc \u2013 social networking seems to be the way it all works now.<\/p>\n

12.\u00a0\u00a0 Do you work in other personal projects at the moment?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. I think we\u2019ve all got other various projects on the go, but when we commit to working with Asia, it becomes a full time occupation for a while.<\/p>\n

13.\u00a0\u00a0 How many copies did your last album of Asia sell and which is the best market for Asia?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not sure on that. We\u2019re fortunate in that we have fans all over the world. We enjoy playing to them wherever they are.<\/p>\n

14.\u00a0\u00a0 Does the imbalance between Euro and US$ affect your tour plan?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We concentrate on the music. The currency exchange is for others to speculate in.<\/p>\n

15.\u00a0\u00a0 Would you like to comment on the economic crisis in Europe and especially in Greece?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As per previous question, we\u2019re just musicians \u2013 not politicians!<\/p>\n

16.\u00a0\u00a0 What would you advise the new bands?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stick with your ideals, whatever other people might say.<\/p>\n
