After all, it was on this&nbsp;date that the world\u2019s top metal acts (Van Halen, the Scorpions, Triumph,&nbsp;Ozzy Osbourne,&nbsp;Judas Priest, M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce, and Quiet Riot) shared the stage on \u201cHeavy Metal Sunday\u201d at the mammoth US Festival. We killed it.&nbsp;The band was&nbsp;hotter than a pistol. That day&nbsp;will always be locked in my memory&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;flying&nbsp;in on the&nbsp;chopper&nbsp;and looking at&nbsp;the endless amount of&nbsp;people and going, \u2018What have we got ourselves into here?!\u2019\u201d<br>&nbsp;<br>Between 1975-1988, Triumph \u2013 singer\/guitarist Rik Emmett, singer\/drummer Gil Moore, and Levine \u2013 rocked the world, and in the process, gave us countless classic hard rock anthems (\u201cFight the Good Fight,\u201d \u201cHold On,\u201d \u201cMagic Power,\u201d \u201cLay It&nbsp;On&nbsp;the Line,\u201d \u201cA World of Fantasy,\u201d etc.) and albums (Just a Game,&nbsp;Progressions of Power,&nbsp;Allied Forces,&nbsp;Never Surrender, Thunder Seven,&nbsp;etc.).&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>But it was the trio\u2019s&nbsp;show-stopping&nbsp;performance at the US Festival&nbsp;that&nbsp;remains one of the greatest performances of their career.
